Job summary

Swayne & Partners, Bury St Edmunds is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the night team. This RVN role focuses on emergency and hospitalised patients, delivering high standards of care overnight.

You will work with the out-of-hours veterinary team, maintain patient records, administer medications, and provide clear handovers to daytime staff. Night shifts and weekend rota participation are required.

Responsibilities

Registered Veterinary Nurse – Night Nurse

Location: Bury St Edmunds
Hours: Full Time | Night Shifts | Weekend Rota Participation Required
Salary: £31,000 basic + £60 per night shift (around £39,000)

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the night team at Swayne & Partners, Bury St Edmunds.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an RVN who enjoys working in a busy hospital environment and is passionate about providing excellent care to emergency and hospitalised patients overnight.

Working alongside the OOH veterinary team and other experienced nurses, you will play an important role in delivering high standards of patient care while developing your clinical skills within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of patient and inpatient care throughout the night

• Follow practice SOPs, clinical standards and patient care protocols
