You will join an experienced team that will provide practical training and support, enabling you to diversify your skillset.

SCVS is a specialist-led small animal hospital equipped with the expertise and knowledge to support the most complex cases. As a large multidisciplinary referral hospital, we offer impressive facilities and state-of-the-art equipment, enabling us to provide outstanding treatment from initial consultation to discharge. We are conveniently based in Ringwood, Hampshire, just off the A31.
Our recent expansion has provided us with a new purpose-built theatre complex, a two-storey facility housing a large client reception and waiting area, 10 new consulting rooms, and a new rehabilitation centre. Further additions include a new diagnostic suite and ICU area.
We have an outstanding team of recognised specialists across multiple disciplines, including a dedicated rehabilitation team providing physiotherapy and hydrotherapy to aid post-operative recovery. Our advanced nursing team ensures excellent patient care during their stay, supported by dedicated veterinary care assistants.
Our Neurology team comprises 2 full-time Neurology Nurses, supported by RVNs from our Multidisciplinary and Anaesthesia teams, as well as a dedicated Neurology VCA, Neurology Clinicians, 2 Residents, and 1 Intern.
What you will bring to our team
Shift pattern
This is a full-time, 40-hour/week position on a 5-week rolling rota. We can accommodate a 4 or 5-day working week, Monday to Friday, and 1:5 weekends with TOIL. Please note there is no scheduled on-call or OOH work; however, occasional overtime may be required in emergencies or if cases run over time.
