Job description

We are a group of seven Primary Care Practices based around Warwickshire, with over 40 years' experience. Our RCVS qualified vets and nurses are dedicated to small animal care, with multiple certificate holders in surgery, imaging, and medicine. We focus on developing our employees' skills within the veterinary industry.

The role will be at our Heathcote branch 2 days per week: Thursdays and Fridays.

Your role and responsibilities

Our skilled team of Veterinary Surgeons with various Certificates allows us to handle a wide array of cases with minimal referrals, giving you exposure to diverse procedures and advanced nursing techniques. Our experienced nurse team, some with over 35 years of service, also includes specialists in anaesthesia, emergency care, client care, and behaviour, offering opportunities for skill development. We fully utilize our nurses for consults, Schedule 3 procedures, and more, ensuring job satisfaction. Supporting them are our Patient Care Assistants (PCA), who work alongside RVNs to maintain high standards of patient care.

The position involves some out-of-hours work, suitable for self-motivated RVNs with their own transport, eager to develop their skills. You may choose between night shifts or weekends. We offer a competitive salary, with a relaxed rota: 1:13 weekends, 1:10 nights, and 1:8 Saturday mornings or afternoons, depending on branch needs. Weekend and night shifts are based at Warwick hospital.
