Overview

Registered Veterinary Nurse – Hartlepool

Join a friendly and well equipped practice with ultrasound, new blood machines, digital and dental x-rays, plus plans for a new CT machine later this year. Enjoy a varied nursing role including nurse consultations, theatre work and the opportunity to perform schedule 3 procedures. Be part of a supportive and loyal team that encourages you to develop your own role and even work towards certificates in areas like medicine, anaesthesia or surgical nursing. Responsibilities & Opportunities
  • Involved in nurse consultations, theatre work and the opportunity to perform schedule 3 procedures if desired.
  • Develop skills and pursue certificates in medicine, anaesthesia or surgical nursing.
  • Support the next generation of veterinary nurses (clinical coaching may be required now or in the future).
The Practice

A long standing, forward thinking practice in Hartlepool that has grown significantly while maintaining a loyal, approachable team dedicated to providing the best care. The practice is well-equipped with new blood machines, ultrasound, digital x‑rays including dental x‑rays, and can perform routine and advanced procedures such as orthopaedic surgery. Plans for a possible move later this year include a brand new CT machine and cat friendly status. The caseload is expanding to include more exotic patients, offering variety for a nurse.
