A veterinary practice in Hartlepool seeks a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their supportive team. This role offers varied responsibilities including consultations and theatre work, professional development opportunities, and a competitive salary up to £30,000 DOE. Experience as an RVN and a positive attitude are essential. Join a dedicated team and grow your career while providing exceptional care to patients.
Join a friendly and well equipped practice with ultrasound, new blood machines, digital and dental x-rays, plus plans for a new CT machine later this year.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly and forward thinking practice in Hartlepool. This long standing and much loved practice has grown significantly over the years, yet retains a loyal, approachable team dedicated to providing the very best care to every patient—and enjoying their work while doing so.
The practice is well-equipped with new blood machines, ultrasound, digital x-rays including dental x-rays, and the capability to perform both routine and more advanced procedures such as orthopaedic surgery. There are plans for a possible move later this year, with the addition of a brand new CT machine, as well as achieving cat friendly status. The caseload is expanding to include more exotic patients, making this a fantastic opportunity for a nurse who enjoys variety.
This is a varied role, offering the chance to get involved in nurse consultations, theatre work, and even schedule 3 procedures if desired. The practice actively encourages colleagues to develop their skills and pursue their passions, with several of the current RVNs already working towards certificates in medicine, anaesthesia and surgical nursing.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced RVN with a strong work ethic, a positive and motivated outlook, and the ability to build rapport with the practice’s many loyal clients. A willingness to become a clinical coach – either immediately or in the future – is also required, as supporting the next generation of veterinary nurses is an important part of the role. In return, you’ll be joining a welcoming, supportive and progressive team who want you to flourish, grow your own role within the practice, and share your passions with others.
