Job summary

Grove Lodge Vets, part of inspiring vet care, is recruiting a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the Worthing hospital family. You will provide high-quality nursing care, support first-opinion and referral work, and contribute to a collaborative clinical environment.

You’ll operate across theatres, support surgeries, and lead nurse clinics while developing your skills in a high-quality, patient-centered setting.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
• Experience in clinical practice with nursing and surgical care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build client relationships.
• Good organisational skills and workload management.
• Proactive approach to learning, reflection and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Work across theatres with vets and general nursing.
• Support routine surgery and medical work-ups.
• Provide inpatient and day patient care in wards.
• Monitor and nurse a varied caseload of hospitalised patients.
• Carry out general nursing duties in a busy practice.
• Run nurse clinics (weight management, health checks, arthritis care, geriatric and wellness).
• Support client education and preventative healthcare initiatives.
• Collaborate with vets and the nursing team to maintain high standards.
