Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
• Experience working in clinical practice with medical and surgical nursing.
• Strong communication and client-relations skills.
• Good organisational skills and workload management.
• Proactive approach to learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient nursing care.
• Support veterinary surgeons with consultations and procedures.
• Anaesthesia monitoring and patient recovery.
• Inpatient care and medical monitoring.
• Surgical preparation and assisting.
• Nurse consultations and preventative healthcare.
• Client education and advice.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and hygiene.
• Contribute to development of nursing services.
• Support charity clinics at off-site events.
• Work between Copdock and Ashcroft Road (Ipswich) branches.
