Job summary

The Barn Veterinary Practice, Copdock in Ipswich is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our close-knit team on a full-time or part-time basis. You will deliver high-quality nursing care across first opinion cases and support our vets with consultations and procedures.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS is required.
• Experience in clinical practice and nursing care.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Organised and able to manage a busy workload.
• Willingness to develop areas of interest.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient nursing care.
• Assist veterinary surgeons with consultations and procedures.
• Anaesthesia monitoring and recovery.
• Inpatient care and medical monitoring.
• Surgical preparation and assisting.
• Client education and advice.
• Support charity clinics across sites.
• Work across Copdock and Ipswich branches.
