Highland Vet Referrals is expanding, and we're looking for a dedicated and skilled Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our dynamic team in Inverness as part of our exciting new referral service.
What You'll Do:
While orthopaedic or medical experience is a plus, we warmly welcome nurses eager to take their first steps into referral practice, offering strong support and development opportunities.

Highland Vet Referrals boasts state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment facilities, including onsite CT, ultrasound, DR X-ray, a full IDEXX lab suite with EPOC, and in-house coagulation testing—enabling comprehensive, accessible care for our patients.

Who We're Looking For
An experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse with strong clinical skills. You'll have excellent communication skills, a passion for high-quality patient care, and a commitment to fostering a positive team culture. A proactive approach to continuous learning and developing practice protocols will make you a great fit.
Working pattern
This full-time position involves a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, with no weekend or out-of-hours duties—overnight care is provided by Highland Vet Emergencies. We offer a flexible rolling rota to accommodate preferred working hours, with shift patterns evolving as our out-of-hours service develops. Flexibility and teamwork are essential, as our close-knit team shares responsibility for patient care, decision-making, and practice upkeep.
