Job summary

Vets for Pets in North Wales is seeking a compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a supportive, forward-thinking team. The role offers 40 hours per week with 1 in 3 Saturdays and excludes Sundays and OOHs, ensuring work life balance.

You will work with 2 RVNs and a dedicated veterinary team in a purpose-built surgery on Clwyd Retail Park, enjoying good transport links, local amenities, and career progression opportunities with CPD support and staff discounts.

Job description

Are you a Registered Veterinary Nurse looking for a new opportunity in the beautiful setting of North Wales? We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced nurse who thrives in a dynamic clinical environment. The ideal candidate will bring confidence and a broad skill set. You’ll be joining a fantastic nursing team consisting of 2 RVNs, who are encouraged to utilise their skills as much as possible which means our days run as smoothly as possible as well as 1 SVN to support. There are also 3 experienced Vets in the clinical team, led by practice owner Sammy and Vet Dr Tiziano. You will also have support from our Veterinary Care Assistant.

The role is full time (40hrs) with 1 in 3 Saturdays, and no Sundays or OOHs.

You should have excellent customer service and communication skills, and a good experience of veterinary nursing with a genuine interest in animal welfare, enjoying the variety provided by the clients and colleagues alike.

We have great local amenities close by and plenty of options for those all-important lunch breaks. When not working, there’s great transport links to West Wales for the stunning settings and great outdoors and over to Liverpool and Chester for the busy city life.
