Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
Job description
Overview

Are you an RVN who's ready to join a supportive, close-knit team where your skills are truly valued?

This well-established mixed practice has been part of the local community for over 60 years, and today it continues to thrive, growing its client base and expanding its services. With RCVS accreditation and ISFM Silver Cat Friendly status, the team pride themselves on high standards of patient and client care, supported by excellent facilities. A brand-new lab is being installed (complete with blood gas equipment), alongside all the usual mod cons you\'d expect from a forward-thinking practice.

You'll be joining a nursing team that gets involved in a wide variety of cases thanks to the clinical team\'s surgical and orthopaedic interests. Nurses here are encouraged to use their full range of skills — whether in inpatient care, anaesthesia, or supporting exciting surgical cases.

The Offer
  • Flexibility with hours — full-time is available, but part-time or alternative working patterns will be happily considered
  • A 1:6 on-call rota, with calls from home (no phones or inpatient checks), fairly shared and paid with overtime for time spent in practice
  • 6 weeks\' holiday (including bank holidays)
  • £600 CPD allowance plus CPD/training support
  • RCVS fees paid plus another membership of your choice
  • VDS cover
  • Health Shield scheme (from dentistry to sports massage)
  • Enhanced maternity, paternity, adoption, and shared parental leave
  • Discounted vet fees
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • "My Perks" discounts on shopping, travel, entertainment and more
  • Company sick pay, annual pay reviews, and a real focus on wellbeing
  • Genuine career progression opportunities within a team that supports student training and exam success

This role would suit an RVN who thrives in a friendly, sociable practice, looking for that all-important first step in a supportive training environment.

This well-established, community based practice in picturesque Devon is looking for an RVN to join their thriving team
