Are you looking for a veterinary nursing role within a small practice where you can really make a difference?
We have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate part time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our small but friendly team at our AvonvaleCubbington practice.
You’ll be working alongside a dedicated team in abranch where you’ll have the chance to build meaningful relationships with clients and their pets. You’ll also benefit from the support of the larger Avonvalepractices who as a group of practices, pride themselves on clinical excellence and fantastic patient care.
A fairly slow paced but routine practice, the role involves:
Nurse consults of a morning
Setting up and preparing for daily pre-ops
Assisting in consults and surgical procedures including monitoring anaesthesia
Assisting with general practice management duties, including diary schedules, stock control, compliance with practice standardsand maintaining operational efficiency
Providing fantastic inpatient and outpatient care to our pets

Included in that are the team of nurses and patient care assistants who have also worked at the branch for many years, all of whom are passionate about delivering exceptional clinical and client care in a friendly and collaborative environment.
What we’re looking for:
•Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
•Excellent clinical skills and a proactive attitude
•Passion for delivering outstanding patient care
• Supporting the day-to-day running of the branch
What we offer:
Part-time position: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesdays totalling 29.25 hours per week, with Saturday mornings at our Heathcote branch on a rota basis (approximately 1 in 6)
Salary starting from £29,120 per annum, depending on experience (Pro rated for part time hours)
5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays and birthday leave (Pro rated for part-time hours)
Out-of-hours work compensated in addition to salary, with options to choose between nights or weekends
RCVS and VDS fees paid
Employer contribution pension scheme, 3% employer, 5% employee
