RVN Maternity Cover: Cubbington

Are you looking for a veterinary nursing role within a small practice where you can really make a difference?

We have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate part time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our small but friendly team at our AvonvaleCubbington practice.

You’ll be working alongside a dedicated team in abranch where you’ll have the chance to build meaningful relationships with clients and their pets. You’ll also benefit from the support of the larger Avonvalepractices who as a group of practices, pride themselves on clinical excellence and fantastic patient care.

A fairly slow paced but routine practice, the role involves:

• Nurse consults of a morning

• Setting up and preparing for daily pre-ops

• Assisting in consults and surgical procedures including monitoring anaesthesia

• Assisting with general practice management duties, including diary schedules, stock control, compliance with practice standardsand maintaining operational efficiency

• Providing fantastic inpatient and outpatient care to our pets

What we’re looking for:

•Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)

•Excellent clinical skills and a proactive attitude

•Passion for delivering outstanding patient care

• Supporting the day-to-day running of the branch

What we offer:

• Part-time position: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesdays totalling 29.25 hours per week, with Saturday mornings at our Heathcote branch on a rota basis (approximately 1 in 6)

• Salary starting from £29,120 per annum, depending on experience (Pro rated for part time hours)

• 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays and birthday leave (Pro rated for part-time hours)

• Out-of-hours work compensated in addition to salary, with options to choose between nights or weekends

• RCVS and VDS fees paid

• Employer contribution pension scheme, 3% employer, 5% employee
