Job summary

Virginia Water Veterinary Clinic is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our small animal team on a full-time basis. We are a friendly, newly established practice near Virginia Water, Surrey, with modern facilities and a supportive environment.

As part of inspiring vet care, you will deliver high-quality nursing care across theatre, inpatient care, and nurse consultations, working with a Vet, Head Nurse, and reception team.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS is essential.
• Experience in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage workload effectively.
• Proactive approach to learning, reflection and continued improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support, and develop the nursing team, promoting high clinical standards.
• Support smooth day-to-day running of back-of-house clinical areas.
• Deliver hands-on nursing care across theatre, inpatient care, and nurse consultations.
• Mentor and guide colleagues, including students and less experienced team members.
