Job summary

GLG Vets in Watford, Hertfordshire invites a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a well‑run, friendly practice. You will provide inpatient care across wards and day patients, monitor anaesthesia, and assist in theatre procedures while delivering client education.

You will manage stock, maintain high clinical standards, and collaborate with a supportive team leveraging familiar PMS and lab integrations. CPD support and a positive, autonomous clinical role are offered.

Qualifications

• RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse (or eligibility).
• Solid experience across theatre, wards and consults.
• Additional certificates or interests are a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent inpatient care across wards and day patients.
• Monitor anaesthesia and assist during theatre procedures.
• Run engaging nurse clinics and deliver client education.
• Support diagnostics (lab work, radiography prep, sample handling).
• Keep meticulous clinical notes and contribute to QI initiatives.
