Job summary

Fern Cottage Veterinary Centre in Sittingbourne, Kent, seeks a Registered Veterinary Nurse for a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. The role covers average 31.75 hours per week across 3 or 4 days, with one in four Saturday morning shifts, in a small animal first opinion practice with modern facilities.

Qualifications

• Qualified veterinary nurse with some experience.
• Confident in all areas of nursing, including anaesthetics.
• Comfortable working in a small animal first opinion practice.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality patient care, running wards and monitoring recovery.
• Conducting nurse consults and clinics.
• Monitoring anaesthetics during operations.
• Supporting student nurses in their clinical journey.
