A leading veterinary practice in Wellington seeks a Registered Veterinary Nurse who is passionate about providing high clinical standards and exceptional client care. We have an excitingopportunity foran RVN to join our friendly, small animal team here at Haygate Veterinary Centre, Wellington. We are a 4branch practice with surgeries across Telford. We are looking for a proactiveindividualto provide an exceptional standard of nursing care, assist theVeterinarySurgeons and actively promote the products and services of the practice.
You will be based at our principal site for Haygate and MiNightVet Telford in Wellington, which has a healthyvariety of medical and surgical caseloads (this rolewill include branch work at any of our sites). We have excellent facilities and Certificate holders in Surgery, Cardiology, Medicine and diagnostic imaging on site so can offer fulfilling career opportunities.
Wellington offers a dedicated nurse consultation room, separate wards and theatres, high spec laboratory equipment, multiparameter and oscillometricBP machines, Bair huggers, ample drip pumps, digital x-ray and advanced ultrasound, shiny new laparoscopy kit with CT installation due for 2025.
This is a full-time role of 40 hours per week over 4 or 5 day shift pattern, shifts examples are 8am-4pm/11am-7pm over 5 days, or 8am-7pm, 8am-5.30pm or 9am-6.30pm over 4 days. Saturdays are a 1:5, which are included in your 40 hour working week. Part-time and flexible working would be considered for the right candidate. There are no OOH requirements in this role, however, as we have our own emergency service on site there is the opportunity to pick up ECC shifts, if desired.
Some of your duties will include:
Salary bandingup to £30,000 per annum DOE - fair, graded pay scale with regards to experience and qualifications.
