Job description
Overview

Join us at our brand-new, state-of-the-art 24/7 Veterinary Hospital opening in Stockton-on-Tees in January 2026. This is your opportunity to be part of something special from day one!

The ideal candidate will be an experienced RVN with a strong interest in anaesthesia, along with enthusiasm for a varied, rotating role across different areas of the hospital. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys developing their skills, working collaboratively, and contributing to excellent patient care.

Our new hospital is set to feature 9 spacious consulting rooms, 3 fully equipped operating theatres, a diagnostic suite, digital X-ray, a dedicated dental suite, and an isolation unit. We also provide separate cat and dog wards for low-stress patient care, along with a central prep area to support efficient clinical workflow. Designed to deliver first opinion, referral, and out-of-hours care, our facility brings high-quality veterinary services to pets in the surrounding community.

About Animal Trust

Animal Trust stands out from other veterinary services. Firstly, we are a unique non-profit, Community Interest Company. Our primary focus isn\'t solely on maximising profits; instead, we are dedicated to delivering on our mission and ensuring enough profit to sustain our business in the long term.

Our vision is clear: No pet should go untreated or face euthanasia when there is a viable treatment option. We firmly believe that pet ownership should be accessible to all, acknowledging that individuals earning the Real Living Wage may encounter challenges in affording veterinary care when their pet falls ill. In response, we aim to assist. Our free consultations and transparent pricing enable our vets and nurses to break down the barriers that stand in the way of pets receiving the treatment they need
