12-Month FTC Registered Veterinary Nurse
Location: Bristol
Contract: Full-time, 40 hours across 4 or 5 days with a share in the 1:4 Saturday rota | 12‑month fixed term contract, maternity cover
Practice Type: First Opinion Small Animal
Competitive Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 depending on experience

What We're Looking For
- Qualified veterinary nurse confident in all aspects of clinical work, including anaesthesia, medical nursing, nurse clinics, x‑ray, IV placement, bloods and sample collection, and completing the necessary administration.
- Experience with Schedule 3 procedures is desirable but not mandatory; the role will be fully supported by senior nurses.
- Ability to take an active role in surgical nursing and district nursing and run consulting clinics independently.
Practice Details
- Small animal practice with digital x‑ray, dental x‑ray, ultrasound, endoscopes, in‑house labs, advanced anaesthetic equipment, and access to ASCNs/visiting orthopaedic surgeons.
