Medivet Brampton are hiring for a Part-Time RVN! 4 days per week/no weekends

Medivet Brampton is a small animal, multi-vet practice with a loyal friendly client base and a varied caseload. The practice comes well-equipped with digital x-rays, dental facilities, ultrasound, multiparametric monitor, in-house laboratory and much more!

This busy clinic is looking for a part-time RVN to join them 4days per week, currently no weekends or OOH. The clinic itself has plenty of off roading parking, staff area and a huge secure back garden, with its own fruit trees!

Brampton is a beautiful thriving Village situated two miles South-West of Huntingdon and 16 miles to the west from the vibrant City of Cambridge. Huntingdon station also offers direct rail links to London in just under an hour.

Role Accountabilities

In this role you will:

  • Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients.
  • Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post procedure activity.
  • Carry out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities.
  • Deliver patient monitoring and care.
  • Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.
  • If relevant: Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care.
  • Dispense and check medication.
  • Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards.
  • Hold briefings to engage and co-ordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice.
Your Skills and Experience
  • RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
  • Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care.
  • Experienced in working effectively as part of a team .
  • Experience of supporting Nurse consults, with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency .
  • Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
