Job summary

Linnaeus Veterinary Limited is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse for Davies Referrals, one of Europe’s largest small animal referral centres. The role offers 40 hours per week with 1:4 weekends, plus flexible hours and part-time options.

You will join a passionate nursing team, delivering hands-on care to a varied caseload under veterinary specialists. Induction and ongoing CPD are provided to support your development.

Qualifications

• Registered Veterinary Nurse with 1+ year experience is desirable.
• Flexibility and accuracy are essential in a busy referral setting.

Salary: Starting from £30,000/annum, depending on experience

Your role and responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has opened at Davies veterinary Specialists for a Registered Veterinary Nurse that is over 1 year qualified to join our Nursing team. As part of the team, you will utilise a wide range of nursing skills to help care for a varied multi-disciplinary caseload. This is a fantastic role for someone who is passionate about all aspects of nursing.

You must be enthusiastic, flexible and enjoy being busy. Having high levels of accuracy and attention to detail are essential, together with being committed to providing high standards of service.

The nursing team work in 3 main areas: wards, theatre and diagnostics. There are department specific teams and a flexi team who circulate through all three. If you have a particular area of interest, please express this in your application. Previous referral experience is not necessary to apply, as you will receive a comprehensive induction programme to prepare you for your role.
