About us

You will be working alongside Partners Nicola Gray and Ignacio Martinez Robles and a friendly team of Vets, five Nurses, two student nurses, and an Animal Care Assistant. We prioritize our colleagues' wellbeing and foster a relaxed atmosphere, welcoming new ideas.

Our practice is located inside a busy Pets at Home store in town, offering free onsite parking, near a train station, with easy access to the M1, and close to East Midlands and Birmingham airports. We are a small animal practice with a high caseload of exotics, equipped with digital X-ray, in-house laboratory, ultrasound, and multi-parameter monitoring.

About you

You will assist in the daily running of the practice to ensure high standards of patient and client care. As a nurse, you will perform an essential clinical role, demonstrating excellent communication and organizational skills, pride in your work, and a willingness to learn about the business side of practice. Ideally, you will have a minimum of 2 years' experience.

About the role

This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, with a 4-day workweek to promote work-life balance. It includes 1 in 4 Saturdays, 9 am - 2:30 pm. You will be involved in all aspects of nursing care, including X-rays, bloods, catheters, ultrasounds, consults, GA, theatre work, medical nursing, dispensing, and Schedule 3 procedures. We encourage and support nurses to utilize their full potential.
