Straid Veterinary Clinic is a warm and welcoming community practice in Beaconsfield, offering over 100 years of trusted care to local pets and their owners. We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our supportive team, whether full time or part time, and become part of a friendly clinic that values teamwork, flexibility and genuine connections with clients.
You will join a dedicated nursing team of three, contributing to high quality patient care across consultations, theatre work, inpatient care and diagnostics. The practice is well equipped with ultrasound, new DR x‑ray, dental x‑ray, a fully equipped laboratory, three consulting rooms and a theatre where both orthopaedic and advanced soft tissue procedures are carried out. You will play an active role in maintaining excellent standards and supporting the smooth running of the practice.
We offer a rota designed to support a healthy work life balance. The full time pattern is Monday to Friday with a mix of early shifts, 8 to 4 for three weeks, and late shifts, 12.30 to 7 for one week. There is also a 1 in 4 Saturday morning, 8am to 12pm. Part time hours can be discussed and shaped around your availability. We encourage shift swaps when needed and work together to support each other with personal commitments and holidays.
Straid Veterinary Clinic is a long established and well respected practice with a loyal client base and strong ties to the local community. We work with several charities and enjoy getting involved in fundraising. Beaconsfield is a vibrant town with plenty of shops, restaurants and excellent commuter links. The team prides itself on being friendly, enthusiastic and supportive, with daily tea breaks giving everyone a chance to reset, chat and connect.
