Here at our small animal training practice in Epsom, we're constantly undergoing exciting progression and expanding our incredible team due to our success and we now have a brand new opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our friendly and welcoming team!

About us:
Our purpose built practice has plenty of onsite parking and is ideally situated close to the town centre and within a 7 minute walk of Epsom train station. The practice offers a range of state of the art equipment including digital X-ray, ultrasound with Doppler, a growing orthopaedic kit and separate dog and cat wards. We also have peripatetic orthopaedic and cardiac vets who visit which enables us to do more in depth surgery and work up cases within our practice.

You will be joining a fun, hardworking, dedicated team of 3 Vets, 3 RVNs, Practice Manager, 1 SVN, 2 VCA and 2 receptionists all trying to make a difference to our clients by offering exceptional patient and client care with community at our core.

Our head nurse is advancing to practice manager, and our talented deputy head nurse, who we trained and mentored, will step into the head nurse role. This opportunity reflects the continuous growth and success of our team.

Lenesa Govender, the lead vet and Practice Owner of Epsom Vets4Pets, opened the practice in 2016, bringing with her 18 years of experience as a vet, mainly in senior roles. Lenesa has a passion for learning and keeping her knowledge up to date and thoroughly encouraging and supporting the same in the hugely talented and caring team.

Being a Practice Owner has really motivated her passion for client bonding, and she thoroughly enjoys getting to know the clients and almost becoming a part of their family. This is the main ethos of Epsom Vets4Pets, we genuinely treat our pets as if they were our own.

About you:

You will help with the daily running of the practice to ensure a high standard of care for Patients and Clients. Nurses are the heart of our practice and perform an integral clinical role in caring for our patients. You'll have great communication and organisation skills and take pride in working to a high standard. You will have an interest in and want to learn about the practice as a business, as well as how to motivate a team to achieve their personal and practice goals. The key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the Veterinary Nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care.

About the role:
This role can be full or part time working up to 40 hours per week with only 1 in 4 weekends and no OOH. We understand the importance of a good work/life balance and so we are open to discussions on what shifts would work best for you!
