Registered Veterinary Nurse – Full Time or Part Time
Limerick, Ireland | €30,000–€38,000 (DOE)

A well-established, independently run veterinary hospital and out-of-hours service in Limerick is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join its dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and compassionate nurse with a minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience who is looking to further their career within a supportive and progressive environment.

  • Competitive salary between €30,000–€38,000, commensurate with experience.
  • Flexible working patterns available – full-time or part-time, with an excellent rota averaging 30–40 hours per week.

The Role
The successful candidate will play an integral role in providing high-quality inpatient, surgical, and emergency nursing care, as well as supporting consultations and procedures across both GP and ECC caseloads. Working within a collaborative veterinary and nursing team, you will have the opportunity to manage a varied and exciting workload while delivering compassionate care to patients and clients alike.

Candidate Requirements

  • RCVS or VCI Registered Veterinary Nurse.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a veterinary nursing role.
  • Confident in all aspects of general nursing, including anaesthesia, inpatient care, and client communication.
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach with a genuine passion for animal care.
  • Previous ECC experience is desirable but not essential, as full support will be provided.
