Job summary

Easipetcare Dartford is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our busy practice. You’ll deliver high‑quality nursing care, assist with anaesthesia, run nurse clinics, and support student nurses within a welcoming team. The role is 40 hours across 4 or 5 days with a 1:3 Saturday rota and time off in lieu.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Easipetcare in Dartford, on a full-time basis.

Situated in the heart of Dartford, our modern well-equipped practice offers the best of both worlds- excellent access to central London, Kent and beyond, whilst still benefiting from local green spaces and community charm. With great transport links and free on site parking, it's an ideal base for a rewarding and well balanced career. You will be joining an established team of 3 Vets, 1 Head Nurse, 1 RVN, 1 VCA and 5 Receptionists, working together to provide high-quality care to our patients and their owners. We are a busy, fast-paced practice where every day brings variety and opportunities to develop your nursing skills.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

This position is 40hrs across 4 or 5 days, with participation in a 1:3 Saturday rota, with time given back in lieu.

General responsibilities include:

• Delivering high standards of inpatient and surgical nursing care
• Assist with Anaesthesia and monitoring patients
• Supporting Consultations and Running Nurse Clinics
• Prove exceptional client care and education
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and infection control
• Supporting Student Veterinary Nurses and VCA's where appropriate.
