Job description

Are you an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse looking to join a friendly and dynamic team on a fixed-term contract? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you at Basildon Pipps Hill!

This role is ideal if you've had some time out and want to return to nursing, or if you're currently a locum seeking stability for the remainder of this year. Perhaps you simply want to work in a great practice with a fantastic team and see where it takes you!

You will join a hardworking, inclusive team passionate about serving the local community. We have a supportive non-clinical team that assists with the client journey, allowing nurses to focus on their clinical roles.

Our small animal practice is located in Basildon on the Pipps Hill Retail Park. We have invested significantly in our team and equipment to offer advanced services, and we accept referrals from other practices. We seek an RVN with excellent communication skills, confident in all areas of general nursing. You should have strong organisational skills and pride yourself on high standards. Success in this role depends on your ability to embrace all aspects of veterinary nursing and deliver excellent patient and client care.

This position is fixed-term, from August 2025 to January 2026, with potential for extension. You will work 40 hours per week, including 1 in 4 weekends.
