You’ll join a friendly, close-knit team in a busy first opinion practice, working alongside experienced vets and supportive colleagues. The role is hands-on, covering nurse consults, anaesthetic monitoring, surgical support, and patient care — with no weekend or OOH commitments.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Independently monitor general anaesthetics and surgical procedures

  • Carry out nurse clinics including health checks, dental checks, blood sampling, BP monitoring, and more

  • Support patients from pre-op admissions to post-op recovery

  • Perform practical nursing such as IV catheter placement, fluid therapy, and analgesia administration

  • Provide client education and advice on preventative care

  • Work closely with the vet team to ensure smooth daily operations

What We’re Looking For
  • RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse

  • Confident in anaesthetic monitoring and surgical support

  • Skilled in running nurse consults and client communication

  • A positive, flexible team player

  • Interest in schedule 3 procedures welcomed and supported
