A regional health authority in Wales seeks a registered nurse for Ward 14 at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a keen interest in caring for patients with chronic and acute conditions. The post holder will be expected to undertake duties in a Ward/Department in the Acute Medical wards. The post holder will carry out a range of assigned tasks involving direct and indirect care for the benefit of the patient/client in accordance with agreed protocols. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that all policies and procedures are observed, and meet Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB requirements, as well as NMC Standards and Codes of Conduct.
We are looking for staff who have an interest in supporting and treating patients with chronic and acute Cardiology and Care of the Elderly conditions. We are looking for motivated, caring individuals who strive to achieve high standards of care for all patients.
The post holder will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work as a team on their own initiative. Staff will be required to be well organised and have time management skills and the ability to work as part of a team or on their own initiative with high standards.
