Job summary

Look Ahead is seeking a kind, compassionate and resilient Registered Service Manager to lead our Mental Health Service in Hackney.

The role offers £45,000 per annum for a 40-hour week, with a focus on ensuring CQC compliance, high-quality person-centred care, and strong stakeholder relationships. You will oversee day-to-day operations, drive quality improvement, manage staff and report to senior leadership. Benefits include generous annual leave, pension, life cover and wellbeing resources.

Qualifications

• Must have held CQC registration as a Registered Manager in a regulated adult social care or mental health service.
• Strong leadership and management experience in a care setting.
• Ability to build relationships with inspectors, commissioners and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Hold day-to-day management and leadership of the registered mental health care home.
• Ensure the service remains fully compliant with CQC regulations and demonstrates safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led practices.
• Maintain positive working relationships with CQC inspectors, commissioners, local authorities, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
• Ensure high standards of person-centred care planning, risk management, safeguarding, and support delivery across the service.
• Plan, organise and prioritise service operations for effective delivery of care and support.
• Lead on quality improvement initiatives and ensure action plans are completed and sustained.
• Produce and submit regular management reports to senior management and performance teams.

What you'll bring:

Essential:

• Must have previously held CQC registration as a Registered Manager within a regulated adult social care or mental health service.

Desirable:

• Other relevant professional memberships and/or specialist qualifications.

• Strong understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and mental health support practices.
