Job summary

The Priory Hospital Preston has an excellent reputation for offering calming, recovery-focused residential treatment for up to 50 service users.

Psychological services at the hospital provide specialist interventions for patients with complex mental health presentations.

Working within the eating disorder and acute wards, this role involves developing, delivering, and evaluating psychological treatments using a person-centred approach to help patients achieve their life goals and optimal functioning.

The role requires organisational skills, independence, and proactivity. Experience with Eating Disorders and group facilitation is essential.

This site-based role involves direct and indirect clinical work, MDT decision-making, staff training, and supervision. Excellent communication skills are necessary to collaborate with the clinical team, patients, and community agencies. The successful candidate will help evaluate and develop key service aspects.

Candidates must hold HCPC accreditation.
