An exciting opportunity exists for a Registered Practical Nurse to provide services within the Colposcopy clinic at St. Joseph's Hospital as part of a collaborative interprofessional team.
This specialized area of ambulatory care provides evaluation and treatment services for women with abnormal pap smears. The RPN will support physicians during colposcopy exams and provide the best patient care before, during, and after each procedure. Responsibilities also include assisting with laboratory data entry and cytology/pathology specimen collection and labeling.
The Colposcopy clinic is a fast-paced environment that requires the RPN to prioritize tasks and patients appropriately, collaborate within an interprofessional team, and communicate effectively with colleagues.
