Job Description:

Pulse is looking for registered and experienced Paediatric A&E Nurses to work within Gwent and Newport Areas.

We understand that being a Paediatric A&E nurse can be challenging. We aim to simplify the process by assisting with booking shifts, completing timesheets, and providing stability. Our goal is to support Paediatric A&E nurses through difficult situations so you can focus on your work.

Competitive pay rates between £29.90 and £48.85 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, evaluate, implement, and review care for patients aged 0-18 in a fast-paced environment.
  • Triaging patients upon arrival.
  • Providing wound care, including suturing and gluing.
  • Communicating with doctors and healthcare professionals.
  • Applying your skills to deliver high-quality care and learning new skills.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure safe care.

Minimum requirements:

  • Valid NMC registration.
  • At least 12 months recent UK NHS experience in Paediatric A&E.
  • Ability to provide a clinical reference covering the last three years of employment.
  • Enhanced DBS or documents to apply for one.
  • Proof of right to work in the UK.
  • Previous experience in a Paediatric setting.
