A regional healthcare provider is seeking a Registered Nursing Associate to work with older adults with mental health needs. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, providing holistic assessment and treatment for issues related to mental health. The role requires a Nursing Associate Foundation Degree and ongoing NMC registration. A full driving license is essential as the job includes home visits. The salary ranges from £27,485 to £30,162 per annum, pro rata.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a registered nursing associate with an interest in working with older adults with mental health needs. The ideal candidate will be motivated and keen to extend their skills in holistic assessment and treatment for dementia and functional mental illness.
You will be working with an established multi-disciplinary team in busy clinics and patients’ homes, so a car driver is essential for this post. This integrated CMHT provides a Memory Assessment Service, care for patients with complex needs related to functional and organic illness, and Care Home and Hospital Liaison. The team’s integrated approach supports seamless care across all stages of illness.
Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across the area. Specialist provision includes inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care. The Trust also provides physical health and well-being services in the community alongside partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
