Position Details

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
• Salary: Up to £30,899.00 per year (dependent on experience, training, and qualifications)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our wards team. The role involves delivering high-quality patient care, assessing patient needs, administering medications, and ensuring compliance with clinical standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with patient care plans and protocols.
• Assess and prioritize patient needs, update care plans accordingly.
• Monitor vital signs and escalate changes in condition appropriately.
• Administer medications safely following hospital policies and NMC Code.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation.
• Comply with NMC standards, governance, and hospital policies.
• Report incidents and safeguarding concerns as per procedures.

Candidate Requirements

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
• Experience in a clinical healthcare setting.
• Understanding of clinical governance and patient safety.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with IT systems for documentation and care planning.
• Experience in relevant specialties (e.g., surgical, medical, outpatient, orthopaedics, critical care) is desirable.
