Job Overview

Various Surgical Wards - The Grange University Hospital

We are looking for Registered Nurses who wish to expand their experience in Trauma/Surgical nursing, improve their clinical decision-making, and develop their management skills. The focus of the ward/unit is to provide a quality service, excellent clinical management, and a safe, effective discharge process.

If you have good communication skills, high standards of care, and are passionate about nursing, we would like to hear from you.

Main Duties of the Job
  • Applicants must have full NMC Registration.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills, and be reliable and hardworking.
  • Commitment to personal development and a keen interest in the progression of the profession within surgical services is essential.
  • Maintain NMC registration and stay updated with current nursing practices.
  • Undertake nursing assessments and evaluations to develop appropriate care plans based on individual needs.
  • Deliver care proficiently to patients.
  • Ensure the safe administration of drugs in accordance with NMC policies.
  • Perform nursing procedures and techniques following policies and standards.
  • Undertake regular mandatory training.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
