The Marie Curie Rapid Response Service delivers rapid and flexible out-of-hours nursing care and support for terminally ill patients and their carers. Other services include multi-visit/overnight service and Blood Transfusion Service (trust area specific). We are a community-based palliative care service aiming to respond quickly to support palliative patients and their carers within the community, usually in the patients’ own home. Our goal is to prevent inappropriate hospital admissions and support patient preferences for their place of care.

We are passionate about continuous improvement and seek nurses who share this passion to ensure respectful and personalized care for the people we serve and our staff.

The Marie Curie Nursing Service is deployed in geographical regions containing smaller teams designed to provide a supportive staffing network. This role primarily involves working on our Rapid Response service.
