Registered Nurse – Skye Centre
AfC Band 5 (pro rata) plus a High Secure Environmental Allowance of £1,679.10 per annum (pro rata) and a High Secure Clinical Responsibility Allowance of £4,030.01 per annum (pro rata).

Post Details – The Skye Centre provides high-quality, individualized services including therapeutic, recreational, social, vocational, educational, and physical health services. The post holder will work collaboratively with the Practice Nurse and support staff to manage physical health needs such as wound care, palliative care, and chronic disease management in accordance with patients’ treatment plans and personal choices.
The individual will be part of the Health Centre team, working alongside the Practice Nurse and support staff. The successful candidate will work without direct supervision, partnering with patients and multidisciplinary teams to develop, maintain, and deliver high-quality care in a secure environment, ensuring safety through comprehensive patient care assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Experience – Applicants should have professional/clinical knowledge obtained through training to degree level. Registration on the NMC single professional register for Adult Nursing and/or Mental Nursing/Learning Disability Nursing is required.

Reduced Working Week –
From 1 April 2024, NHS Scotland in Scotland will implement a reduced working week from 37.5 to 37 hours for full-time staff, with pro-rata adjustments for part-time staff, without loss of earnings. Implementation may vary by department to ensure safety, with full transition expected when feasible. Remuneration will be adjusted accordingly.
