Job summary

FutureCare is seeking a Registered Nurse in Maryland to support residents through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care plans.

You will review resident medical records, ensure nursing practice aligns with state and federal guidelines, and coordinate referrals. CPR certification is required; Maryland RN license active; 1 year of nursing experience preferred. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits offered.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting in the delivery of resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Review resident medical records to ensure nursing practice provided is within State and Federal guidelines
• Review referrals for consultation, treatment or resolution of problems are valid and applicable to the documented nurse plans
• Evaluate and monitor resident responses to daily implementation of nursing care to ensure the provision of resident care plans are met
• Implement physician’s orders, nursing interventions and procedures as needed for the care of the resident
• Seeks opportunities for professional growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain competency levels
• Set and implement goals and policies consistent with the philosophy and purpose of FutureCare’s nursing facility

Qualifications

• Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or long-term health care facility a plus
• Must possess a current CPR license

Salary

• Competitive Salary $36.00-$44.00/hr and Shift Differentials! ***
• Additional $12 per hour differential pay for all weekend hours worked. ***
