A mental health care provider in Gateshead seeks a Mental Health Nurse to provide care for older adults with dementia. The role involves assessments, personalized interventions, and maintaining a supportive environment. Ideal candidates will have relevant experience and strong communication skills. Benefits include a £1,000 welcome bonus and enhanced pension options.
NLD or RGN also considered (with previous Dementia experience). Welcome bonus £1,000 on completion of successful probationary period. Due to limits on our certificates of sponsorship we are not able to offer sponsorship to external candidates for this role. This is regularly reviewed.
Pinetree Lodge supports older adults with a diagnosis of dementia who, because of this organic brain disease, have behaviors that challenge which means they are unable to live in the wider community. Our team of experienced Registered Nurses & Support Workers led by Clinical Leads work closely to undertake assessments in order to provide person centered therapeutic interventions to minimize any risks associated with these behaviors. For our dementia care services, we believe passionately in providing good care to people with dementia and their families.
