Job summary

Sulis Hospital Bath invites applications for a part-time Registered Nurse in Recovery on a 12-month fixed term contract. Based in Bath, this role supports our recovery team with a focus on orthopedic patients and other surgeries as needed.

You will plan, assess, implement and evaluate patient care following agreed pathways, respond to changes in condition, and adapt care plans to maintain clinical excellence. DBS clearance and NMC registration are required.

Qualifications

• Evidence of CPD in nursing practice.
• NMC registration and current UK practice.
• DBS clearance (or ability to obtain).
• Recovery environment experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assess, implement and evaluate patient care following agreed care pathways.

Advertised salary: £31,406 - £39,046 pro rata

Contract: Part-Time- 27 hours Fixed Term Contract – 12 months

Sulis Hospital has an opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our small and supportive Recovery department part time on a 12-month fixed term contract.

As a Registered Nurse within our recovery team, you’ll be an integral part of our healthcare team and work as a skilled member of the nursing team to assist in high level of care for patients. We offer a variety of surgeries but predominately orthopedic surgery. Support will be given on another specialty surgery if there is minimal or no experience.

This requires planning, assessment, implementation and evaluation of patient’s condition and care following agreed care pathways. You will be confident in responding to changes in condition, proposing/making changes to care plan as required to assist with the provision of an environment conductive to clinical excellence.

If you have NMC registration and a demonstrable record of CPD with knowledge & experience in professional clinical practice, then we would like to hear from you. Relevant experience in the Recovery environment is desirable.
