Job summary

Circle Health Group's The Park Hospital in Nottingham is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Outpatients team on a bank basis, providing cover during busy periods and staff leave. You will deliver direct nursing care, assess patients, maintain documentation, and support patients and families, working with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high‑quality care.

NMC registration and experience in a clinical setting are required; IT proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
• Experience in a clinical healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

Salary: Up to £22.46 per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join their team of staff in theOutpatients department.

This is a bank role working on an as and when required basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

Duties of this role include:

• Deliver direct nursing care in line with patient care plans and clinical protocols.
• Assess patient needs, prioritise care, and update care plans accordingly.
• Maintain accurate, legible, and timely nursing documentation, including assessments, care plans, and observations.
• Communicate effectively and empathetically with patients, families, and carers, providing information, reassurance, and emotional support.
• Support patients in understanding their condition, treatments, and recovery processes.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality, safe, and efficient care.
• Identify and report incidents, safeguarding concerns, and potential risks in line with hospital procedures.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
• Demonstrable experience working in a clinical healthcare setting.
