SUMMARY:
The Staff Nurse, RN or LPN will have knowledge and understanding of substance abuse and mental health illness and the capability to provide treatment consistent with standards of professional care. This position requires the physical ability to perform emergency treatment, e.g. CPR, assisting patients with routine care, etc. The RN or LPN will conduct a medical assessment, intake screening exams, and have the capability to implement physician’s standing orders.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Education:
Certificate, Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
Experience:
One year of experience in nursing is preferred. New nursing grads are also encouraged to apply - we will train!
Skills:
Must be able to express self adequately in writing and orally. Ability to implement physician’s standing orders.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
Current licensure as an RN or LPN in Massachusetts. Current CPR certification or the ability to be certified within three (3) months of hire.
