Registered Nurse

Bank - for flexible hours

Essential experience: Nursing home, PCS system, medication management, strong leadership skills, excellent understanding of dementia and complex care.

Other required skills:

We look for strong clinical decision-making, leadership, and care planning skills.

Experience with syringe drivers, catheterisation, bloods, PEG feeding, stoma care, and a good understanding of the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.

As an advocate for our residents, you will play a crucial role in planning daily activities, creating tailored care plans, and ensuring individual needs and choices are met. Your skills will shine as you champion dignity and safety, serve as a role model to colleagues, and provide a meaningful experience for residents.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Medication administration and care planning
  • Providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support
  • Ensuring safeguarding principles are maintained
  • Taking responsibility as Nurse in Charge during shifts
  • Team management and shift planning
  • Infection prevention and control
  • Liaising with GPs and multidisciplinary teams
  • Upholding clinical governance standards

About you:

Demonstrate compassion, dedication, and commitment to enhancing residents' quality of life. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to learning are essential. Whether newly qualified or experienced, we support your career development with tailored training.

Essential requirements:

  • A UK-recognised Nursing qualification
  • A valid UK NMC PIN and registration as RGN, RNLD, or RMN
  • Ability to assist residents with mobility and perform physical tasks

  • Catheterisation, bloods, PEG feeding, stoma care
