About the Role

Registered Nurse

Bank - for flexibility on hours

Essential experience includes: nursing home experience, PCS system, medication management, strong leadership skills, excellent understanding of dementia and complex care.

Other required skills:

Clinical decision-making, leadership, and care planning skills

Key responsibilities include:

  • Medication administration and care planning
  • Providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support
  • Maintaining safeguarding principles
  • Taking responsibility as Nurse in charge
  • Team management and shift planning
  • Infection prevention and control
  • Liaising with GPs and multidisciplinary teams
  • Upholding clinical governance standards

About you

We seek compassionate, dedicated individuals committed to enhancing quality of life. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential, along with a desire to learn and develop clinically. Previous experience is preferred but not required; we support all levels through tailored training.

Essential qualifications:

  • A UK NMC-recognized nursing qualification
  • A valid UK NMC PIN and registration as RGN, RNLD, or RMN
  • Ability to assist residents physically, e.g., mobility support

Additional skills:

  • Strong clinical decision-making and care planning
  • Bloods and medication administration
  • Understanding of the Mental Capacity Act and deprivation of liberty

Role is subject to DBS checks for safe recruitment.
