Job summary

Ashgrove Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) to join our clinical team in Scotland. This contract position offers £20 per hour for 36 hours per week, with paid NMC, PVG, pension and uniform provided, plus overtime enhancements and excellent training opportunities.

You will lead shifts, assess needs, develop care plans, administer medication and monitor health, always prioritising dignity and person-centred care for our 65-resident home.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN.
• Strong clinical judgement and decision making.
• Experience leading shifts and supporting a team.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Experience in a care home setting is beneficial.

Our purpose-built care home offers exemplary standards of Residential and Nursing care for 65-residents.

Registered Nurse RGN or RMN Contract

• £20.00 per hour
• Contracted to 36 hours per week
• Paid NMC, PVG, pension, uniform provided, overtime enhancement
• Excellent training opportunities for progression
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Ongoing training, clinical updates and funded development, with clear and supported progression into Senior, Clinical Lead and Management roles, within a well led, professional environment where your skills are recognised and developed.

Role Overview

As Registered Nurse, you will play a central role in delivering high quality, clinically led care while taking responsibility for maintaining safe, effective and person centred practice across your shift. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership, ensuring standards are upheld and care is delivered consistently in line with best practice.

You will assess needs, develop and review care plans, administer medication and monitor changes in physical and mental health. Leading shifts, you will support and guide the care team, make informed clinical decisions and respond promptly to changing needs, ensuring continuity and quality of care at all times.

Working closely with residents, families and healthcare professionals, you will use your judgement and experience to maintain high standards, ensure accurate documentation and contribute to a well organised, professional environment where dignity, independence and wellbeing are always prioritised.

What We Are Looking For

• Registered Nurse RGN or RMN with an active NMC PIN

• Confidence in leading shifts and supporting a team
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Experience in a care home setting is beneficial, however we welcome nurses from a range of backgrounds who are keen to develop within this environment
