Job summary

Hampden House in Harrogate invites a Registered Nurse to join our compassionate team. You will deliver high-quality nursing care, manage medications, and support residents with dementia, working night shifts on a 22.3-hour week.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN.
• Experience in care homes or healthcare settings.
• Experience supporting older people and those with dementia desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Caring, compassionate and professional approach; able to work independently and in a team.
• Available to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to residents.
• Administer and manage medications per best practice.
• Complete clinical assessments and care plan reviews.
• Provide wound care and support with complex nursing needs.
• Lead and support care teams during shifts.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
• Promote dignity, independence and wellbeing for residents.
