Job summary

The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a competent nurse to work within the Ward/Department team. You will assess care needs, plan and evaluate care, and deliver evidence-based nursing with supervision and mentorship for learners.

You will communicate effectively with the MDT, participate in teaching, and support discharge planning while maintaining accurate nursing records and safe medication administration.

Qualifications

• Nurse must hold current NMC registration.
• Ability to work within a MDT and deliver evidence-based nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Assess care needs and develop, implement and evaluate care plans.
• Lead and mentor learners and staff; take charge of the ward in absence of senior staff.
• Promote safe, effective care and accurate nursing records.
