The Home
Bohill Bungalows is located just outside Coleraine in a rural location and provides the care and rehabilitation required for such specialist care provisions. Bohill Bungalows are a leading provider of a highly specialised service, providing care for residents with traumatic brain injuries, acquired brain injuries, neuro-degenerative conditions, learning disabilities and complex epilepsy. Bohill Bungalows was built in 2012 and we have 3 purpose-built 6-bedroom bungalows, one which is for ABI and 2 for Learning Disability clients. We work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure that the residents needs are met in a home setting.
The Role
The role of a Registered Nurse in our Learning Disability services is a key position in our mission to provide excellent and inclusive care. The Registered Nurse is a leadership role, you will play a vital part in managing the care of our residents and providing high-quality and person-centred care. The Registered Nurse will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care plans tailored to the individual needs of our residents.
We pride ourselves on being able to deliver complex care to our residents, as the Registered Nurse you will support the management of shifts, ensuring the safety of all residents and our team. The role of Registered Nurse is always evolving and having a commitment to personal and professional development will ensure that you are able to make a positive difference in the lives of our residents and their families.
About The Role
Main Responsibilities
Delivering person centred care to each resident
Assess and monitor the physical health of residents within care plans ensuring all CPA and risk assessment documentation is up to date
To offer support and supervise all care staff or new recruits
Ensure effective communication of any concerns relating to resident care
Complying with relevant regulatory and statutory requirements
Undertake any other duties that may be reasonably required as designated by the Home Manager.
