Job summary

Alexander House Care Home in Exeter is recruiting for a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC PIN to join our clinical team. The role covers Nursing, Residential, Dementia and Respite care, with shifts that include alternate weekends.

You will assess needs, develop care plans, administer medications, and lead shifts, supporting a professional team to maintain high standards of person-centred care for our 67 residents.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse RGN or RMN with an active NMC PIN
• Strong clinical judgement and decision making skills
• Confidence in leading shifts and supporting a team
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Experience in a care home setting is beneficial, however we welcome nurses from a range of backgrounds who are keen to develop within this environment

Responsibilities

• Assess needs, develop and review care plans, administer medication and monitor changes in health
• Lead shifts and support the care team, make informed clinical decisions
• Ensure accurate documentation and maintain high standards of care
• Respond promptly to changing needs and ensure continuity of quality care
• Support residents, families and healthcare professionals with dignity and wellbeing
