Job summary

NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a Registered Nurse to assess care needs, develop and evaluate care programmes, and ensure high-quality patient care. You will work within a multidisciplinary team with limited supervision and may supervise students and junior staff.

The role requires post-registration experience and the ability to adapt to ward/department needs, with opportunities to support in leadership and coverage as required.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with valid NMC Registration.
• Demonstrates excellent teamwork and collaboration in a multidisciplinary setting.
• Excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of basic information technology.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise ward/department staff to promote best practice in patient care.
• Provide cover in the absence of senior staff to ensure ward operations run smoothly.
• Undertake additional reasonable duties as service needs evolve.
